I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with the following organizations:

Hope for Haiti: a grass-roots NGO working in Haiti for the past 20 years, Hope for Haiti works in education, health care, nutrition, and clean water. It was one of the first responders to the January 12th earthquake, and has been amazing to watch grow in both size and depth over the past year. NOTE: I worked for Hope for Haiti from August 2009 to April 2010, as an Education Specialist.

IMA Worldhealth: IMA Worldhealth began providing relief to Haiti soon after the January 12th earthquake. And now, the more far-reaching work has begun.

International Organization of Migration: An intergovernmental organization established in 1951, IOM is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society.

Maison de Naissance: In Haiti, the services of a modern maternity center and community health program are offered from the hospitality of a safe, culturally appropriate, welcoming, and friendly home:  a home for birth – Maison de Naissance.
